Sound barriers

Sound barriers are an effective solution for reducing environmental noise, protecting residential areas and industrial zones from the negative effects of traffic and other sound sources.

Wooden Sound Barriers

Tertu's wooden sound barriers are a solution used where there is a requirement to reduce nuisance noise in areas with increased vehicle traffic. These sound barriers are made of wooden structures and are placed parallel to the road, reducing the noise level.

Tertu's absorbent sound barriers are particularly suitable in cases where the placement of reflective sound barriers creates resonance and intensifies the noise problem.

The sound barriers are manufactured in standard dimensions with a length of 4.00m and a minimum height of 1.00m. By connecting the panels, sound barriers with heights of 2.00m, 3.00m and 4.00m can be created.

The panels are placed on a metal frame on the traffic side, placed sequentially with an inclination of up to 45°. On the residential side, the plank surface is planed and placed vertically on the residential side.

To support the panels, galvanized HEA metal profiles are used, the sizes of which are selected depending on the height of the sound barrier and the load they are required to bear (wind-snow).

Tertu's wooden soundproofing panels are certified according to the EN 1793 standard by the Laboratoire Européen D'essais acoustiquede CSTB (CSTB European laboratory for acoustic testing), Marne la Vallée.
